Data Deletion Instructions

GrowSoci lets you manage your own Facebook Pages and Instagram professional accounts. You are always in control of your data. This page explains how to delete the data GrowSoci has obtained from Meta Platforms (Facebook and Instagram), and how to delete your GrowSoci account entirely.

When you connect a Facebook Page or Instagram professional account, GrowSoci stores: the account or Page name and profile picture, the access tokens needed to publish on your behalf, the posts you create or schedule in GrowSoci, performance insights (reach, likes, comments, follower counts), and the comments and direct messages from your connected accounts shown in your inbox. We never sell this data, share it between customers, or use it for advertising.

1. Log in to GrowSoci at https://app.growsoci.com
2. Go to Settings
3. Find the Facebook Page or Instagram account under your connected accounts and click "Disconnect".

Disconnecting immediately stops GrowSoci from syncing new data from that account or publishing to it, and hides the account's data from your workspace.

Disconnecting is not a deletion.We keep the account's access token and its previously synced data — analytics, follower history, comments, and message conversations — so that you can reconnect the same account later and pick up where you left off without going through Facebook's authorisation again. This data is retained for as long as your GrowSoci account exists.

To permanently delete the data we obtained from Facebook and Instagram, use one of the other options below: remove GrowSoci from your Facebook settings (Option 3), delete your GrowSoci account (Option 2), or email us (below).

1. Log in to GrowSoci at https://app.growsoci.com
2. Go to Settings and scroll to the "Danger Zone" section
3. Click "Delete Account" and confirm.

Your account is then scheduled for permanent deletion. All of your data — including every piece of data obtained from Meta — is permanently and automatically deleted no later than 30 days after your subscription or trial access ends. Until then, you can cancel the scheduled deletion from the banner shown in Settings.

You can also revoke GrowSoci's access directly on Facebook: Settings & Privacy → Settings → Business Integrations (formerly "Apps and Websites") → GrowSoci → Remove. Once revoked, GrowSoci can no longer access your Facebook or Instagram data.

When you remove GrowSoci this way, Facebook notifies us through Meta's data deletion callback and your request is processed automatically — the data we obtained from Facebook and Instagram (access tokens, synced analytics, follower history, comments, and message conversations) is deleted without any further action from you.

Your GrowSoci account and the content you created in your own workspace remain. To remove those as well, use Option 1 or 2 above, or email us (below).

If you can't access your account, email support@growsoci.comfrom the email address you signed up with, using the subject "Data Deletion Request". We will verify the request and complete the deletion within 30 days.
